    #2: And I’m Mark Brody and this is Wolfpack News for Friday, March 24th, 2017.

    #1: This year's Prom theme is Mardi Gra and will be held at Navy Pier! Tickets go on sale the week of April 10th. If you’d like to receive the early bird discount, you can purchase your tickets for 100 dollars on April 7th. Tickets will be sold before school for students who have cash and do not want to carry it around all day. Guest Passes can be found in the Deans office and are due BEFORE April 14th. Any further questions, please contact Ms. Partington or refer to OE Prom on Twitter.

    #2: If you love to read and write and are if your English GPA is at least 3 point 5, you are eligible to apply for membership in the National English Honor Society. Applications are by the English office door (E280) and are due by April 4th.

    #1: If you are interested in attending the Literary Festival in a few weeks, please see Mr. Ochoa today. You will receive a field trip slip and a t-shirt order form.

    #2: Freshman, interested in joining Oswego East’s AVID program? Applications are now being accepted for admission to the AVID program as a sophomore. Applications will be available in the student services office and in room J210. Applications will be due April 10th. Contact Mr. Gulbro or our Counselor Ms. Allen for more information..

    #1:. Are you a person who watches anime or reads manga? People who join will able to participate at the end of the year Anime club pizza party. Meetings are every other Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 in F331

    #2: Seniors! The deadline is quickly approaching to sign up for your Senior Celebration and Great America Grad Night! Turn in registration forms and permission slips in by April 12th to student services or the Senior Celebration table during lunches. Forms can be found in student services or on the OE Wolf Parent website. Don't miss out on two great events with your class of 2017! And now it’s time for sports, here’s Meghan.

    #SP: Varsity Baseball team defeated West Aurora 11 to 0 in 5 innings. Varsity is now 4 and 0.

    #SP: The Freshman baseball team had an explosive day on offense for 12 hits that helped lead to a 10 to 8 win over West Aurora. The offense was led again by Nick Miravete with 3 hits and Nathaniel Campbell who hit the first home run of the season. The Wolves were led by Andrew Petsche, Jacob Ferry and Tyler Heidkamp on the mound. Also getting hits and providing offense for the Wolves were Alex Kelsch, Alec Kohl, Nathaniel Fukutake, Max Robertson and Jacob Ferry.

    #SP: Sophomore baseball also won with a score of 7 to 4 against West Aurora. The Wolves had 8 hits in the game and were led by Grant Davis with 3 stolen bases and a total for 11 by the team.

    #SP: Last night the Lady Wolves Soccer team opened SPC play with a 4 to 1 victory over Joliet West. Jasmine Ruiz had a hat trick and Alexe Anderson scored the 4th. JV also won their SPC opener 1 to 0. The lone goal was scored by Anna Stonehocker. The next game is against Romeoville next Thursday at home. That’s all for sports, now back to the anchor desk.
