Mrs. Ann Neville
I graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in special education in the area of deaf and hard of hearing in December of 1988. I then continued my education over the years and earned certificates/approvals in elementary education, learning disabilities, language arts, early childhood special education, and then I graduated with a master’s degree in early childhood education. Since then I have obtained my learning behavior specialist and English as a second language endorsements. I have taught children at all grade levels and abilities in the areas listed above. I have been an itinerant and a classroom teacher for students with a hearing loss, an early childhood blended classroom teacher, a classroom teacher for children who have autism, and in a self-contained early childhood special education classroom. I am currently teaching at Brokaw Early Learning Center in an early childhood blended classroom.
I have taught many students during my teaching career. I love learning from as well as teaching my students and their families. I also love learning from and collaborating with peers to meet the needs of the students we teach. I look forward to the new students and the returning students, as well as to the experiences each new school year brings!
