Welcome to First Grade!

 

My name is Jen Klotz and I am so excited to be your child's first grade teacher!  

 

I attended Aurora University in Aurora, IL where I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education.  I also earned my master's degree in educational leadership with a principal's endorsement from Aurora University.  I have an ESL (English as a Second Language) endorsement from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL.

 

I have been teaching since 2011.  I spent the first eight years of my career teaching kindergarten at East View Kindergarten Center and at Fox Chase Elementary School.  I began teaching first grade in 2019 and I love it!
