This is my third year in fifth grade. During my career in District 308, I have served as a grade level leader, building mentor leader, member of the Professional Learning Community Training Committee, and also the Professional Development Planning Committee.

In 1997, I graduated form the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, with a bachelor’s degree in directing and classical theater. From there, I worked at many theaters including Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Court Theater, and Old Town Playhouse, in Traverse City, Mich. I went back to Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, to pursue teaching in 2002 where I received my master’s in elementary education in 2004. In 2012, I became national board certified. T.His year, I have become the districts' National Board Certification Cohort facilitator

I look forward to serving both my students and community this year as a second grade teacher!
