Announcements

  • The Wolf's Crossing staff is dedicated to raising money for different charities each month. On Wednesdays, staff is enouraged to pay $1.00 to wear jeans.  Every dollar collected on Wednesdays is donated at the end of the month to that charity.  The charities are chosen by staff recommendations.  Read below to find out what we are supporting for August and September.

Charity: Lisa Harmon Orrock Scholarship Fund

Mrs. Lisa Orrock was an amazing teacher, friend and person who worked at Carol Stream School.  She was fully of energy and excitement, and brought happiness to others. She loved school and the students she taught.  For many years, Lisa didn't let her diagnosis of PH (pulmonary hypertension) keep her from living life to the fullest.  Sadly, she lost her battle with PH two years ago. We felt there was no better way to honor her, but to help another student continue his/her education.  Therefore, we created the Lisa Harmon Orrock Scholarship Fund.  Last year, we were able to honor a high school senior with a $500 scholarship.  We hope to use the money raised by the staff to continue giving our scholarshops to deserving seniors to further their college education.
