Degrees and Certifications:

Michelle Szadorski

My name is Michelle Szadorski, and I am a kindergarten teacher at East View Kindergarten Center since 2015. I earned my bachelor’s degree in early childhood from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Afterward, I taught at-risk pre-kindergarten for a total of eight years in both Bellwood and Burr Ridge school districts. During that time, I also earned my master’s degree in reading instruction from Concordia University in River Forest, Ill. After staying home to raise my family for several years, I re- entered the education field in 2014 as a math interventionist, and then a substitute teacher at East View.

I am very excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year! I look forward to getting to know your child and instilling a lifelong love of learning. I believe it is my job as an educator to help each student reach their fullest potential in the classroom. I feel that it is important to help them become confident, independent learners to ensure success. I look forward to a wonderful year full of learning and growth!
