  • Pies!

Posted by Lisa Hrouda on 11/26/2019 11:15:00 AM

Pumpkin pie and apple pie with whipped cream, stuffing, turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and cranberries! We are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving! We will be spending time with family and friends. Sometimes we travel to a relative's home, whether it be by car, train, or plain, depending on how far it is from your house to theirs. Some of us will be watching football, watching T.V. movies, going outside and playing games.

Before we celebrate, we need to prepare by cleaning the house, vacuuming, make the beds, get a good night's rest, lay out the items needed to cook.

We will also be giving thanks. Pathways students are thankful for our friends and family and pets. Happy Thanksgiving from Pathways!

  • Phillip's Park Trip

Posted by Lisa Hrouda on 8/26/2019 11:00:00 AM

    Phillip's Park

On August 21st, we took a trip to Phillip’s Park in Aurora. Phillip’s Park has a zoo, Museum and a garden. There are walking paths, pavilions for picnics, park, skate parks, and Tram rides, and a waterpark.

We had an awesome time. We had a picnic lunch, and relay races.

We also ran, played a colored sharpie marker game, soccer, and got to know our new Classmates.

Some of us took a walk and saw a peacock. We felt snake skin and mammoth bones in the museum. It was fun and exhausting time, but we had fun together!
