Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Rocelle Hearing
Hi, my name is Ms. Hearing. I have been in the district since 2014 and I am excited to teach our Junior High this year. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (K-8) with a Social Science endorsement from Lewis University. Recently, I have also obtained my Master’s in Education with an ESL and Literacy endorsement (K-12) from the same university.
This year, I will be at Bednarcik in the mornings and Thompson in the afternoons. I will be working with your Junior High throughout the school year; mainly pushing-in and co-teaching during one of your child’s core subjects (ELA, Math, History and/or Science). During my push-in time, students will be monitored and/or assisted in reading, writing, and class discussions both in whole class and in small groups. Students are encouraged to ask questions or seek assistance at any appropriate time. They could also reach me through email after school hours.
Let’s make it a great year! I am looking forward to meeting you soon. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
