We are looking for a crew of volunteers for each month the pantry is open. Volunteers are able to volunteer on a regular basis or fill in when needed.

Volunteers are Needed for the Following Shifts

  • 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Set Up
  • 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: Registrars, Runners, and Traffic Control.

Description of Each Position

  • Set up: The set-up crew will be responsible for cleaning produce, packing boxes, and getting the pantry set up for clients. We will need 20 people for this shift.
  • Registrars: Registrars will greet each food pantry client and register them in the system, or check repeat clients into the pantry.  We need at least 4 people who are able to perform this position on a regular basis. Volunteers who are bilingual are preferred for this role.
  • Runners: Runners will load up the carts with bags of food and take them to the client's cars and put them in the trunk. We will need 20 volunteers for this shift.
  • Traffic Control: Traffic control volunteers will help keep cars moving into and through the drive-up system for the food pantry.
