Hello Hunt Club Families,

It is with much pride and excitement that I share that I have been chosen to serve as the next Principal of Hunt Club Elementary School. It has been my honor to serve our school as the Assistant Principal the past four years, and I look forward to leading our school while we continue to ensure learning and individual achievement for every student.  What I have found the past four years is that our school is filled with dedicated and passionate staff members who celebrate each child’s uniqueness and capitalizes on those strengths to ensure all students are learning and growing.  I am elated to continue to lead a building where this type of passion for our students exists and can be expanded upon.

I have had many conversations with our staff members, parents, and students during my time at Hunt Club.  Through these conversations it is clear that we all have the same goal, to offer the best learning experiences possible for all students.  Our greatest priority is to ensure Hunt Club Elementary continues to provide excellent learning opportunities for all students by challenging and inspiring them.  I look forward to working together with you to support your child(ren) as they engage in the challenging and exciting opportunities Hunt Club Elementary has to offer, because building strong relationships with students, families, and teachers, is important to me.

If you ever have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to call the main office or email me directly. I believe open communication is imperative, and I will always encourage you to reach out to your child’s teacher, to a member of the office staff, or to myself to advocate on behalf of your child.

Personally, during the last four years, my husband and I have welcomed two children, Vera, who just turned three years old, and Henry, who will be one this week!  We value our time together as a family and love to travel, go on walks, enjoy parks and nature, and read books.  Being a mom has really opened my eyes to the opportunities I hope for my own children to have as well as all the students at Hunt Club.  I hope each student at Hunt Club feels they are safe, valued, cared for, and challenged while at school.

We truly are “Better Together”, and I look forward to a year where we show our students and community that “The Impossible IS Possible.”

Hola familias de Hunt Club,

Con mucho orgullo y entusiasmo comparto que he sido elegida para servir como la próxima Directora de la Escuela Primaria Hunt Club. Ha sido un honor para mí servir a nuestra escuela como subdirectora los últimos cuatro años, y espero liderar nuestra escuela mientras continuamos asegurando el aprendizaje y el logro individual para cada estudiante. Lo que he encontrado en los últimos cuatro años es que nuestra escuela está llena de personal dedicado y apasionado que celebra la singularidad de cada niño y aprovecha de sus fortalezas para garantizar que todos los estudiantes estén aprendiendo y creciendo. Estoy entusiasmada de seguir liderando una escuela donde la pasión por enseñar a nuestros estudiantes existe y se puede ampliar.

He tenido muchas conversaciones con los miembros de nuestro personal, padres y estudiantes durante mi tiempo en Hunt Club. A través de estas conversaciones queda claro que todos tenemos el mismo objetivo - ofrecer las mejores experiencias de aprendizaje posibles para todos los estudiantes. Nuestra mayor prioridad es garantizar que Hunt Club Elementary continúe brindando excelentes oportunidades de aprendizaje para todos los estudiantes desafiándolos e inspirándolos. Espero con interés trabajar con ustedes para apoyar a su(s) estudiante(s) mientras participan en las oportunidades desafiantes y emocionantes que Hunt Club Elementary tiene para ofrecer, porque para mí es importante establecer relaciones sólidas con los estudiantes, las familias y los maestros. Si alguna vez tiene alguna pregunta o inquietud, no dude en llamar a la oficina principal o enviarme un correo electrónico directamente. Creo que la comunicación abierta es imprescindible, y siempre lo alentaré a que se comuniquen con el/la maestro/a de su estudiante, con un miembro del personal de la oficina o con mí misma para abogar en nombre de su hijo.

Personalmente, durante los últimos cuatro años, mi esposo y yo hemos recibido a dos niños, Vera, que acaba de cumplir tres años, y ¡Henry, que cumplirá un año esta semana! Valoramos nuestro tiempo juntos como familia y nos encanta viajar, pasear, disfrutar de los parques y la naturaleza, y leer libros. Ser madre realmente me ha abierto los ojos a las oportunidades que espero que tengan mis propios hijos y todos los estudiantes de Hunt Club. Espero que cada estudiante en Hunt Club sienta que está seguro, valorado, cuidado y desafiado mientras está en la escuela.

Realmente somos "Mejores Juntos", y espero con ansias un año en el que demostremos a nuestros estudiantes y a la comunidad que "Lo Imposible SÍ ES Posible".
