Principal

I have proudly served as your Lakewood Creek principal since March 2019.  I was the assistant principal at Fox Chase in SD308 for five years prior. Before that, I worked in Plainfield for twelve years as a fifth grade teacher and an assistant principal. Earlier in my career, I taught in Oak Park, Elgin, and Naperville. I graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and elementary education. In 2009, I earned my master’s degree in educational administration from Governor’s State University in University Park, Ill. In 2020, I graduated with an Educational Specialist (EdS) degree from Northern Illinois University.

Since arriving at Lakewood Creek, I have found helpful and engaged students, an incredible HSO, welcoming parents, and a supportive staff who make our Coyote community vibrant. I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with such an incredible team.

Assistant Principal

It has been a pleasure to serve as the Assistant Principal at Lakewood Creek for the last two years. Prior to working at Lakewood Creek, I served as the Assistant Principal at Cathedral of Saint Raymond School (PreK-8) in Joliet, Illinois for four years and taught for several years before becoming an administrator. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois; Master of Arts in School Leadership from Concordia University Chicago, River Forest, Illinois.  My endorsements include:  General Administrative, Elementary Education, General Science, Language Arts and Social Science.
