Principal

I am honored to partner with our Traughber families and students as principal of our school. My first job in teaching was at the junior high level, where I worked for my first 10 years in education as a teacher and later as an assistant principal. I was a department leader, coach, and Athletic Director.  I then served as an elementary principal in both Indiana and here in SD308 at Homestead for 16 years. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana University. I have experienced over the years that there are many pathways to success and I look forward to helping our students find the path that works best for each of them. 

Assistant Principal

I have worked for the past twenty-four years in education as a junior high and high school teacher, coach, assistant athletic director, and dean of students.  I am very excited about beginning this next chapter of my professional career as assistant principal at Traughber Junior High School. I received my bachelor's degree from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois, and my master's degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
