My name is Mike Kelley and I am currently a Social Studies teacher at The GOAL program.  This is my 11th year at GOAL and with SD308.   Prior to working at GOAL, I taught in several different alternative school settings.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations from the University of San Diego.   While at USD, I played football and enjoyed the great weather.   I earned my Masters in Teaching from Olivet Nazarene University. I truly enjoy the opportunity to work with the students and families at GOAL. The small class size and a unique classroom setting provide an outstanding learning environment. 

I currently reside in Joliet with my wife of 27 years.  We have five wonderful children together, ranging in age from seventeen to twenty-six years old.
