Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Julianne Kent
I am eager to begin teaching, learning, and motivating students to reach their full potential. In 2010, I earned my bachelor’s degree in special education from Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal, Ill. The next five years, I taught in an emotional/behavioral, self-contained classroom at Metamora Township High School, in Metamora, Ill. I earned my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Effective Classroom Management through American College of Education, Indianapolis, Ind. I wanted to become a teacher because I love being a part of moments when students grasp a concept. I am thrilled to work with students, parents, and co-workers at Traughber Junior High School.
