Welcome to the Transition webpage! I have the pleasure of working with the finest young adults of Oswego 308! I believe that students need to learn to be self-determined and self-advocates so they can make the decisions to live the life they want to live. The 2016-2017 school-year is my fifth year teaching in the Transition Program. Prior experience includes teaching Life Skills at the Elementary Level for the Kendall County Special Education Cooperative.

My education consists of an Associates in Science from the College of DuPage, Bachelor’s in Special Education from Western Illinois. After teaching Life Skills for several years, I pursued my Master’s Degree from National Louis University. I recently obtained my Transition Specialist Certificate from Illinois State University. Throughout this time, I have had the privilege of meeting wonderful professors. However, my number one teacher are the students I am fortunate to see each and every day.

This is going to be a great year! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
