I am excited about starting my ninth year of teaching special education. This is my third year at Hunt Club Elementary School.  This school is a wonderful learning environment for students and a caring environment for both students and teachers!  I enjoy working with children and helping them reach for their dreams through their education.  I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect.  I will continue to fill their minds with important lifelong skills.  My professional goal for this year is to create a more positive environment by celebrating teacher and student successes as often as possible.

My personal educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science Degree where I became a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBSI) at Quincy University in 2010.  Soon after graduation, I enrolled in a Master’s program at Judson University.  In 2012, I graduated with a masters degree in Teaching English as a Second Language with a bilingual endorsement in Spanish.

My husband and I have been married for almost 18 years, and I have two children.
