Mrs. Allison Sulkson

Principal

It’s great to be a Eagle!!!  This is my second year here at East View Academy and I am excited to be serving as the building principal.  Prior to being here at EVA, had the pleasure of being principal at Wolf’s Crossing Elementary for the past fourteen years.

I attended Wheaton schools from kindergarten through high school.  I received my bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. My area of concentration was special education. I began my teaching career working as a teacher for Kendall County Special Education Cooperative at Boulder Hill Elementary School.  My students were in grades third through fifth and were identified under the special education category of Emotionally Disturbed. After obtaining my Masters’ in Administration from Northern Illinois University, I continued to work in special education as a Coordinator for five years with Kendall County.  At that time, I decided it was time to move into regular education and was given the wonderful opportunity to be the Assistant Principal at Homestead and The Wheatlands Elementary schools here in Oswego. For three years I served as the Assistant Principal at both buildings.

I currently live in Wheaton and have two boys, Andrew 10 and John. In my free time I love to read, exercise and go shopping (like any girl)!

I am truly appreciative of our students, staff and community.  East View Academy is a great place to work! I hope to work collaboratively with our families in order to establish an optimal learning environment for our students both academically and socially.  I look forward to getting to know your children!
