I am Terri Hiles, Pathways Transition Program school social worker for nearly 10 years; and a district social worker for 27 years.  I earned my social work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Jane Addams College of Social Work.  I love the Transition Program - it's students, staff and families; and I made career choices in order to be full time with this program.  In my work with our students, my attention is on the person, not the disability.  My emphasis is on the important life skills of emotional regulation, character education, and 'Social Thinking'.  In my free time, I love camping, hiking, reading, meditating, streaming TV, and listening to comedy and sports broadcasts.
