The primary metric used to calculate the risk category is the Weekly New Case Rate per 100,000 People. The data is viewed by zip code, the four zip codes that make up the primary service area for most SD 308 students are measured (60503, 60538, 60543, 60585).Data is entered each weekday as released by IDPH. IDPH no longer provides data over the weekend and data is updated at the start of the week. Due to this, graphs may display no data or zero case data Saturday-Monday night. Data has a 3-day lag time (eg Data from 8/15/21 will display on 8/18/21).
Illinois State Metrics
Please note these graphs represent data from each ZIP code and the Feeder represents the four primary ZIP codes that attend SD 308 schools.
These data are calculated/estimated from publicly available data via Northwestern (http://covid-dashboard.fsm.northwestern.edu/), CDC (https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/), and IDPH (https://www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/covid19-statistics). We do not have direct access to the raw data. These data are provided for informational purposes only. Data are updated daily. Data represents the total number of tests performed and reported electronically at IDPH, commercial, or hospital laboratories. Zip code is the zip code of residence, which may not be the location of the exposure.
