I attended the University of Findlay, in Findlay, Ohio where I received my bachelor’s degree in education with kindergarten through 12th grade endorsements in physical education and health education. After graduation I taught 7th-12th grade physical education at Bishop Noll Institute in Hammnd, Ind. I took a break from teaching and went back to school to receive my master’s degree in education with an emphasis in educational technology from the University of Findlay. I also served as the graduate assistant coach for the women's basketball team and worked as an adjunct professor for the physical education department. After completing my master’s degree, I took a job as the assistant women's basketball coach at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus. After three years of coaching I moved to Illinois. I have been in the Oswego High School kinetic wellness department since 2012.  I am proud to be a Panther!
