Mr. Zachary Sadek

Social Studies Teacher

I joined the Oswego East High School faculty in spring 2012 as a member of the special education department. My prior work experience included teaching history and religion at Brother Rice High School, and serving as a Title 1 instructor for catapult learning. I earned my bachelor’s degree in history education from Illinois State University, Normal, in 2005, and my learning and behavioral specialist endorsement from St. Xavier University, Chicago, in 2009. I transitioned into my current role as a history teacher at Oswego East High School in fall 2013, and I currently teach modern world history, ancient history, and economics. I also serve as a member of the football and baseball coaching staffs, and I write a weekly article for The Patch about our student athletes of the week.
