The Wolf's Crossing staff is dedicated to raising money for different charities each month. On Wednesdays, staff is enouraged to pay $1.00 to wear jeans. Every dollar collected on Wednesdays is donated at the end of the month to that charity. The charities are chosen by staff recommendations. Please read below for our charity of the month.
December/January Charity: THe National Stroke Foundation is devoted 100% to support stroke rehabilitation and prevention efforts. Every 40 seconds, someone in the U.S. has a stroke and about 80,000 people will be affected each year. For the survivors of a stroke, receiving the appropriate education and care is essential to their recovery. The National Stroke Foundation offers largely free education, resources, services, and legislative advocacy, focused on the needs of survivors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals nationwide.
