Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Amy Dillon

I attended the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology in spring 2001. I was a molecular biologist for six years prior to deciding to become a teacher. I chose to become a teacher because I wanted my effort and work to make a difference in the lives of others. I earned a master’s degree in secondary education from Aurora University, in Aurora, Ill., in the fall of 2007, and now have the opportunity to encourage and educate students.

I am a science teacher at Oswego High School. In the past I have taught biology, chemistry, and conceptual physical science (chemistry and physics). I am currently teaching forensics and honors chemistry.
