Welcome to Bednarcik Junior High School, Home of the Bulldogs! It is SO GOOD to be back in the building with all of our students everyday! We have all had to relearn expectations and procedures as it has been quite some time since we have been together as a full school community. Needless to say, our building is alive with energy! 

It is an honor and privilege to lead the Bednarcik Community as Principal. From the first time I walked in the doors 7 years ago, I was taken aback by the culture and community within the building. We are more than just a school. We are a crucial piece of the community we serve as students and staff collaborate to grow and lead. We have traditions of excellence in all we do here at Bednarcik. Our staff is student-centered and wants to help each student reach their full potential so they can be successful, not only in school, but as adults in our community. Collectively, we talk about students as ‘our’ students and do all we can to support each student as an individual within our school system. From academics and fine arts to athletics and extra-curriculars, our students have so many experiences to grow as individuals and leaders.

From the first days together this year, I challenged everyone to be a part of what we do here at Bednarcik and I have seen so many accept that challenge. Students are getting positively involved in our community and they are doing the right thing in every classroom. Our students have stepped up and met the challenges faced head on. 

Students, I want to take this opportunity to remind you that your teachers, counselors, administrators, and all our staff are available to provide assistance. Your questions and concerns are always welcome. As you work through your years at Bednarcik, I challenge each of you to set goals and work to accomplish them. Your time at Bednarcik is foundational to your future success, and we are confident about the positive impact each of our students will make in the world. 

I look forward to the challenges of tomorrow and, with that, I am excited about what is to come! Together we will continue to move forward and find new ways to achieve academic greatness, further instill and inspire Panther Pride and traditions, and create lasting high school memories.
