Hello Wolves!

We are excited for the 2022-2023 school year and being back for another great year at The Wheatlands Elementary. Our theme for the school year is "I'll Be There for Kids". At The Wheatlands, we will continue to focus on building relationships to best support students in their learning, growth, and social-emotional well-being. Throughout the school year, we will recognize, teach, and celebrate the six pillars of Character Counts! Encourage your child(ren) to wear the color of the month every Wednesday during the school year and talk about actions that support the pillar focus:

August/September: All Pillars/All Colors
October: Respect/Yellow
November/December: Caring/ Red
January: Fairness/Orange
February: Trustworthiness/Blue
March: Citizenship/Purple
April: Responsibility/Green
May/June: All Pillars/All Colors

Throughout the school year, you can keep up with what is happening at our school by following us on Facebook and Instagram and also making sure that you are reading my weekly messages. Activities and Events for the school day as well as fun extra opportunities for our wolves are communicated in those weekly messages.
