I am so excited to begin my 20th year as an educator by teaching 5th grade at Grande Park Elementary for the 2021-2022 school year! 

I attended Illinois State University, Normal, where I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education with endorsements in middle school, language arts and social science. I received my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Olivet Nazarene University, in Bourbonnais, Ill. I also attended The Gifted Institute to receive my endorsement in gifted education.

I began my teaching career at East View Elementary teaching first and second grades. I then taught for seven years in North Palos School District 117 in Hickory Hills, Ill. I came back to District 308 during the 2014-2015 school year teaching 3rd grade at Wolf's Crossing.  I was a gifted education teacher at Wolf's Crossing for the following three years.  This will be my fourth year teaching 5th grade at Grande Park!
