Welcome to Kindergarten!

I am your child’s kindergarten teacher. I knew I wanted to teach when I was very young. I had wonderful teachers throughout my school career and wanted to be that inspiration for my students. In 2005, I graduated from Aurora University, in Aurora, Ill., with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I attended National Louis University, Chicago, to obtain my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. I began my career in District 308 in 2006 at Wolf’s Crossing Elementary School. I was a teacher assistant at the kindergarten level and taught half-day kindergarten as well. I helped open East View in 2011 as a full-day kindergarten center.
