Welcome to Kindergarten!

I began my teaching career in 2006.  I graduated from Illinois State University, in Normal, Ill., with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I then received my masters degree in Reading through Olivet Nazarene University, in Bourbonnais, Ill., in 2010.  In 2014, I completed my endorsement in English as a Second Language through Benedictine University, Lisle, Ill. Each of my degrees has proven to be very beneficial to my teaching career. 

I hope to instill a love of learning and a desire to be of good character in each of my students.  While I aspire to reach and teach every individual, I also appreciate what I take away from each student. I am constantly finding myself learning from them too. I look forward to another great year!
