I have been teaching since 2001. I started my teaching career as a half-day kindergarten teacher, where I taught two half-day sessions at Homestead Elementary for nine years.  I have been at the East View Kindergarten Center since 2011. I received my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, and I received my master’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University, in Bourbonnais, Ill.  

As an educator, it is my aspiration to provide each student with a safe learning environment. My objective is to assist each child in reaching his or her highest potential, while giving students the confidence to succeed in any challenge they encounter. I strive to instill a lifelong love of learning in my students.
