Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Angela Sperlakis

It is a privilege to be part of the Lakewood Creek Elementary School team and community as a learning behavior specialist. I attended Western Illinois University, Macomb, Ill., for my bachelor’s degree in special education.  I earned my master’s in teaching and instruction through National Louis University, Chicago. I just completed an endorsement for English as a second language (ESL) with Benedictine University, in Lisle, Ill. I began my career at Thompson Junior High during the 2000-01 school year after being in the East Aurora school district for a year. I then joined the elementary world at The Wheatlands Elementary School after seven years teaching junior high. This year marks my 21th year of teaching special education, and I have enjoyed working with so many wonderful families and students!
