Welcome to second grade!

I attended Northern Illinois University, in DeKalb, Ill., where I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education, with middle school endorsements in language arts and social science. I received my master's degree in reading from Northern Illinois University as well. In 1999, I began my teaching career with School District 308. I taught first grade for three years at Long Beach Elementary School before coming to Homestead Elementary School in 2002 to teach second grade.

I am looking forward to a wonderful second grade year.
