I attended Elmhurst College, in Elmhurst, Ill., where I received my bachelor’s degree in Special Education, kindergarten through 12th grade. I taught first and second grade resource in Roselle, Ill., for one year before joining the District 308 community 8 years ago. My first teaching job in the district was as a Resource teacher at Churchill Elementary School, where I worked with students in grades three through five in reading, writing, and math. This is my seventh year at Homestead Elementary. This year I am working with 5th, 2nd, and 4th grade students. I am looking forward to another stellar year!
