Welcome to 3rd Grade!

I'm so excited to be your child's teacher!  I love teaching third grade and it's going to be an amazing year!  I began my teaching career at Hunt Club Elementary School more than ten years ago.  I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work with such an amazing staff, wonderful students, and incredible parents right out of college.  I attended the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Ill., and graduated in 2011.  After two years of teaching, I decided to go back to school to pursue my master's degree in Literacy from Judson University, Elgin, Ill., in 2014.  My passion is literacy, and I love to inspire children to read and write daily.  I feel honored to come to work every day and get to do what I love and make a difference in the lives of our spectacular students!  Let's work together to make this year amazing!
