My undergraduate degree is in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. For many years, I worked in social services advocating for children and young adults. My love of reading and research led me to a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I began my career at Thompson Junior High School as a library media specialist in fall 2012.
