Children ages 3-5 years are eligible for the Early Childhood program through three different paths: Preschool for All, Special Education, and Tuition Preschool. All programs take place at Brokaw Early Learning Center, Lakewood Creek Elementary School, Wolf's Crossing Elementary School, or Long Beach Elementary School.
Programs are offered in half-day sessions, Monday through Friday. Students attend the first session from 8:00am-10:30am, or the second session from 11:45am-2:15pm. Preschool students follow the district calendar, except students do not attend on any shortened attendance days.
Children registering for Kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of the current year. Half-day and Full-day programs are available. Kindergarten is available at all elementary schools.
Early Entrance Applications
- Accepted between March 1 and May 1.
- Due by May 1st of spring before the start of the school year for which you hope to have your student enrolled.
- No applications will be accepted beyond May 1.
Registration Requirements
Elementary
- Full-Day Kindergarten: $550
- Half-Day Kindergarten: $60
- 1st Grade - 5th Grade: $120
- 6th grade - 8th grade: $165
- 9th grade - 12th grade: $195
- 5th grade - 12th grade: $50
Physicals and Immunizations must be submitted on or before September 15 to prevent exclusion from school. (Exclusion applies to physicals and immunization requirements only).

Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) District Transportation Requirements state that our district must provide free transportation for pupils residing 1.5 miles or more from any school to which they are assigned for attendance maintained within the district.

Paying Registration & Lunch Fees
How To Sign Up:
Follow these steps to create and link your parent account to your student.
- Go to pushcoin.com. Use the latest internet browsers as they are the most secure.
- Sign up as a parent or guardian. Either click on I don't have an account and fill out the form or use an accelerated sign up by clicking on the Facebook, Gmail, LinkedIn or Hotmail links.
- Add your student to your PushCoin account by clicking Add User. Enter the unique PushCoin Registration Code, which should have been emailed to you, or contact your child’s school and ask them to email it to you again.
- Information about the student should appear on the screen. Verify the information is correct and click Confirm.
If you have multiple students, repeat steps 3-4 for each of the students.

To report a student's absence, please follow the procedures listed under the school's "Attendance Office" page or call the phone number listed below for your student's respective school. When leaving a voicemail, please provide your student's full name, ID number (if available), and reason for absence.
