Work Based Learning
Work Based Learning is a supervised vocational program sponsored by Oswego Community Unit School District 308 that connects classroom learning to real-world experiences. Transportation and job coaches are provided by the district. Work Training agreements are signed by students, parents, staff and sponsoring agency. SD 308 assumes all liability.
Through partnerships with local businesses and organizations, students gain hands-on skills and confidence to prepare for their post secondary education transition.
Our mission is to empower students by helping them develop the job skills, independence, and experience needed to succeed in the competitive workforce and become engaged, contributing members of the community.
