Have you lost something? The lost and found is full of items waiting to be found by their owner. Come check it out. The lost & found it located outside of the student services office. All items will be donated
after school.
The annual MAVERICK MANIA is almost here! Get ready to be a Maverick Maniac!! Get ready to rock the moonwalk, play an awesome game of soccer or basketball, sing your heart out at the Karaoke station, and just hang out with the rest of the Maverick Maniacs! You also will be able to purchase all kinds of treats like, Dip and Dots, candy, popcorn and more! Make sure to bring some money to purchase treats!
Mavericks: During Maverick Mania you must leave any belongings in the classroom; you will not be allowed back in the classrooms until Maverick Mania is complete at 11:15am. You will just need your money if you plan on purchasing concessions.
It's time to announce the FINAL Model Mavericks of the 2022-23 school year! Please come down to the office for a photo and certificate after this announcement.Mr. Watkins has nominated Isabella Tsu Ponce. Tsu is always prepared for class and willing to participate. She has a good working attitude and shows respect to students and staff alike.
Jonathan Stamogiannos was nominated by Mrs. Watt! Jonathan has worked hard to communicate his needs and works hard every day in class to get his work done well and on time!
Mr. Williams would like to recognize Emilee Brown! Emilee exemplifies every single one of our valued characteristics effortlessly and without presumption. Emilee displays a genuine respect and unwavering selflessness towards everyone, which creates an aura of positivity everywhere she goes.
Mrs. Winter nominated Carter McManis for always adding an interesting perspective on classroom discussions. He enters the classroom with a great attitude and is always active in his learning with a positive attitude.
Ms. Youngwith nominates Rowan Behnke for always coming to class with a smile on his face, ready to learn. Rowan is respectful, responsible, and has an excellent attitude.
Jackson Cannon was nominated by Mrs. Zaininger. Jackson is a Model Maverick because he consistently exemplifies respect for all around him, responsibility and dedication to his schoolwork, and excellence in all that he does here at Murphy.
Mr. Zaininger nominated Rachel Kangas for her excellent job in the classroom. Rachel's participation in class is always insightful and thoughtful. Her studious dedication and support of the classroom is very much appreciated.
And Finally, Mrs. Zawacki would like to recognize Ellen Ainsworth! Ellen is a very friendly, outgoing student who is extremely compassionate of others' feelings and experiences. She does the right thing when no one is watching, stands up for her peers when she sees mistreatment, and respects the values of our school.
Congratulations to all of our 2022-23 Model Mavericks! You make us proud!
