Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Amanda Greenwood
Welcome to 1st Grade!
I attended Illinois State University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education and political science. While there, I also earned junior high endorsements in language arts and social studies. In 2015, I obtained my Masters of Education with an English as a second language endorsement through National Louis University in Chicago.
My career began at Wolf’s Crossing Elementary School in 2011, where I taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I'm excited to be teaching again at The Wheatlands this year! I have also served on the District Math Committee since 2014.
Each day, I am inspired by my students and enjoy watching them grow. I am looking forward to partnering with you and your child for a successful school year.
