Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Stephanie Buckley

I teach sixth grade direct English/language arts and co-teach sixth grade math and English/language arts along with study skills. I am also the case manager for sixth grade students. I am also very excited to be the faculty advisor for Student Council this year.

I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. I have a bachelor's degree in special and elementary education, with endorsements in language arts and social studies. I taught seventh and eighth grade special education at General George S. Patton, in Riverdale, Ill., before coming to Murphy Junior High School. At Murphy, I have taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade special education and co-taught courses. I truly believe that reading helps make people successful, and I encourage all of my students to read regularly. I hope to share this passion with students and regularly challenge them to do more with their skills.
