Mrs. Carrie Quinn
I attended Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, were I received a degree in sociology. I spent four years working in a self-contained classroom at a therapeutic day school. I provided both therapy and academic instruction for students meeting the criteria for special education services for social/emotional disorders, learning disabilities, and other medical diagnoses. While working at the therapeutic day school, I completed my master’s degree in special education from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. I have also earned a second master’s degree in educational administration from Governors State University, Chicago. This is my 16th year in District 308 as a learning and behavioral specialist special education teacher and as a case manager. This is also my third year as the Special Education Lead Teacher at Plank.
