I attended the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where I received my bachelor’s degree in sports management. I then attended Aurora University, in Aurora, Ill., where I received my master’s degree in elementary education. I also went on to Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, to obtain my physical education endorsement. I have been teaching in Oswego Community Unit School District 308 since 2006 and have been teaching physical education at Boulder Hill Elementary School since 2010.  I am passionate about teaching physical education because I am able to promote physical fitness, cooperation, and personal responsibility through fun and engaging activities.
