I will be your child’s teacher this year, and I am honored to be a positive role model in his or her educational career. This marks my 17th year of teaching in District 308. I have taught Kindergarten at East View Kindergarten Center and Kindergarten and First Grade at Prairie Point Elementary School. I enjoy every year and look forward to all the amazing adventures this year will bring. I received my undergraduate degree from North Central College, in Naperville, Ill., a master’s degree in education with an emphasis on reading through Olivet Nazarene University, in Bourbonnais, Ill., and obtained my ESL endorsement through University of St. Francis, in Joliet, Ill. 

My passion is teaching children to love learning and instilling qualities of a good character! I know that each child has the desire to learn, but as educators it is our responsibility to encourage and support that yearning throughout the years. Communication is key in the success of your child, so please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. You can expect regular communication from me, explaining curriculum covered, upcoming events, and important dates.
