Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Natalie Proczko
Welcome to fifth grade!
I attended Monmouth College, in Monmouth, Ill., and earned a double major in learning disabilities and elementary education, with a concentration in psychology. I went back to school in 2002 and earned my master’s degree in administration from the University of St. Francis, in Joliet, Ill. I have taught fourth grade for nine years, a multi-age class of fourth and fifth graders for two years, and this is my third year teaching fifth grade.
My goal for this year is to help your child succeed and acquire a love for learning. In my classroom it is important to me that I provide your child with a comfortable and caring environment. This allows your child to explore, ask questions, work with peers, and challenge him or herself. I will focus on your child’s strengths and try to improve his or her weaker points. It is my goal to facilitate your child’s growth and development and provide a positive learning experience. I am an organized and patient person, and I run my classroom in a structured and calm manner so that the students know exactly what is expected of them. I view teaching as a gift.
