I earned my degree in social sciences and history from North Central College, Naperville, Ill., in 2009. I completed my student teaching at Oswego High School in fall 2008 and am excited to be back. I returned to North Central College to complete my master’s degree in curriculum and Instruction from 2012 to 2014.

A fan of all eras of history, I find interesting aspects in all historical time periods. Currently, I am teaching modern world history and advanced placement European history. Having competed in speech and forensics in high school and college, I now serve as the head speech coach for Oswego High School.
