Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Traci Hartman-Perez
I joined the Oswego High School’s student services team in August 2011 as a guidance counselor after being a classroom teacher in health and business for over 11 years in both District 308 and Indian Prairie School District 204. In addition to my counseling position, I also enjoy getting to know the senior National Honor Society members as the OHS Chapter advisor. I earned my bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University College of Business, DeKalb, in 1991, my master's degree in curriculum and instruction from National-Louis University, Chicago, in 1994, and my graduate work for counseling certification through Lewis University, Romeoville, Ill., in 2010.
My primary goal as a counselor is to help support students in reaching their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. Helping them to do so while they are in high school will provide them with many options for life after Oswego High School.
