Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Kelly Schreier
I joined the staff at Oswego High School in 2007 after teaching eighth grade language arts and high school English in southern California for a year and a half. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a corporate lawyer for three years in Illinois. I am currently serving as a mentor teacher to new teachers in District 308 and I am working toward my national board certification.
I earned my bachelor’s degrees in English and speech communication at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in 1999. Thereafter, I earned my juris doctorate from DePaul University College of Law, Chicago, in 2002, followed by my master’s degree in teaching with a teacher certification from Aurora University, in Aurora, Ill., in 2005.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching and inspiring my students. I’m looking forward to another wonderful year!
