Mr. Scott Johnson
Science Teacher
Growing up along the Fox River, I acquired a deep respect for the natural world. I spent most of my childhood exploring islands, catching interesting species of fish and photographing nature. When I left for college, I decided to pursue my passion and study the sciences. I spent countless hours researching in the field as well as in the lab, but it wasn’t until I became a lab assistant for a few biology classes that I realized my desire to become a science teacher. Over the years, I've taught a variety of courses at Oswego East High School, including: Environmental Science, Biology, Honors Biology, AP Biology, Principles of Biomedical Science, Medical Interventions, and Medical Topics. With every lesson I am able to share my passion of the natural world with my students. I am also the sponsor of Science Olympiad and Ecology Club.
