Ms. Amy Whitlock

World Language Teacher

I joined Community Unit School District 308 in 2007 as a member of the Oswego East High School faculty. I am originally from Cincinnati, where I taught French at Northwest High School. Since coming to District 308, I have taught all five levels of French. I am also the sponsor for French Club and La Sociète Honoraire de Français, the French National Honor Society.

I received my bachelor’s degree in French language and literature in 1999 from the University of Cincinnati and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s in secondary education in 2000, also from the University of Cincinnati. I am a member of the American Association for Teachers of French, from which I have received the Professeur du Laureate award.
