Mrs. Jennifer Aughenbaugh
I attended Illinois State University in Normal, IL, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Special Education K-12, with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education in 1994. I served as Special Education Teacher (Inclusion Facilitator) in grades K-5 at Ardmore School in Villa Park District 45 for six years. I began teaching in Oswego District 308 at Fox Chase Elementary, with the opening of this new school in 2000. I taught grades 2-5 at Fox Chase in the Resource Special Education Program for three years. At this time, I began my Masters in Educational Leadership from The University of Saint Francis in Joliet, IL. I completed my degree while teaching at Old Post Elementary with grades 1-5. In 2008, I had the opportunity to assist with the opening of Southbury Elementary School, serving as the Assistant Principal and Special Education Resource Teacher (for grades 2-5). I continued to work at Southbury Elementary as an Learning Behavior Specialist for 12 years:) This year, I am so excited to have the opportunity to continue my love of teaching as a Wolverine at Wolfś Crossing:)
