Hi there!  Welcome to 1st Grade!

As long as I can remember, teaching has always been my passion and dream.  In 2007, I received my Bachelor's Degree in education at North Central College and more recently received my Master's Degree at Concordia University of Chicago.  I was beyond blessed to be able to open Southbury Elementary in its first year in 2008 as a first year teacher.  I have been here ever since and there is nothing I would rather do.  This is currently my tenth year of teaching!  My goal is for all of my students to enjoy coming to school each day to learn something new.  I want my students to feel safe, confident, and loved.

I'm looking forward to another fantastic year here at Southbury!
